This policy explains how Kartavya CSC Digital Seva, as Data Fiduciary, processes your personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), the rules made under it, and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules under it.

1. What we collect and why

• Account data (name, email, optionally mobile number): to create and secure your account, send one-time passcodes and service emails.
• Strategy files and reports you upload or generate: only to run your backtests and show you results.
• Billing data (name, email, GSTIN if you give one, plan, amount, Razorpay payment reference): to process payment, issue GST invoices and meet tax law. Card, UPI and bank details are collected by Razorpay, not by us.
• Technical logs (IP address, time, request path): for security, fraud prevention and to meet legal obligations.
• Waitlist email: only to tell you when SensexPilot opens.

We do not use advertising trackers, analytics pixels or third-party cookies on sensexpilot.com, and we do not sell or rent personal data. We do not use your strategy to trade, to train models for others, or for any purpose other than your backtests.

2. Legal basis and consent

We process account, strategy and waitlist data on your consent, given when you sign up, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us; withdrawal does not affect processing already done, and we may then be unable to provide the service. Billing and log data are also processed where needed to comply with law (for example GST and cybersecurity rules) and for the service you requested, as permitted by Section 7 of the DPDP Act.

3. Who we share data with

Only with processors who help run the service, under contract:

• Razorpay (Razorpay Software Private Limited): payment processing. Razorpay receives your name, email, mobile number, amount and payment details, and sends us a payment reference and status.
• Telegram (Telegram Messenger): only if you message our SensexPilot support bot. Telegram processes your Telegram user ID, display name and the messages you send; we keep the support conversation to answer you and delete it within 90 days of the ticket closing.
• Our hosting provider (DigitalOcean, servers in India) and our email provider.

Some providers may process data outside India, subject to any restrictions notified under the DPDP Act. We disclose data to authorities only when required by law.

4. Retention

• Strategy files: deleted within 30 days after the related report is delivered. Reports: kept while your account is active.
• Account data and reports: deleted within 90 days after you close your account. Accounts inactive for 24 months are closed and erased; we email you at least 48 hours before erasure.
• Billing and invoice records: kept for 8 years, as required by GST law (Section 36, CGST Act, 2017).
• Security logs: kept for 180 days, then deleted, unless needed longer for an investigation or by law.
• Waitlist emails: deleted 30 days after the launch invite is sent, and in any case within 12 months of signup.
• Backups rotate within 30 days, so deletions reach backups within that time.

5. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may: get a summary of your personal data and how it is processed; ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it; withdraw consent; nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity; and seek grievance redressal. Email founder@aiworkspacehq.com from your registered address. We respond within 15 days, and in any case within the time required by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

6. Security and breaches

We use HTTPS, access controls and least-privilege access. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform affected users and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Act and rules require, and report cyber incidents to CERT-In where required.

7. Children

SensexPilot is only for adults (18+). We do not knowingly process children's data; if we learn we have, we delete it.

8. Grievance Officer and contact

We will update this page and email account holders before any material change takes effect.
